Öt év intenzív koncertezés és két sikeres album után búcsúzik a Barabás Lőrinc Eklektric. A nu-jazz csapat a névadó trombitás más irányú zenei elképzelései miatt határozatlan ideig felfüggeszti működését.

Az Eklektric egy miniturné keretében zárja le pályafutását. A csapat a triphopos, kísérletező elektronikus tánczenét játszó Bin-Jip (róluk nemrég itt írtunk) és a dj-szettel készülő Nicola Conte olasz gitáros, producer, a nu-jazz mozgalom egyik meghatározó alakja társaságában december 3-án a Pécsi Est Caféban, 4-én Budapesten az A38 hajón, 6-án pedig Szegeden a JATE klubban ad koncertet. A dzsessz, az elektronika, a dub, a hiphop, a reggae és a french house elemeinek felhasználásával egyedi stílust kialakított Barabás Lőrinc Eklektric két héttel ezelőtt, november 4-én még a Művészetek Palotájában adott rendhagyó koncertet, amikor egy vonósnégyessel lépett színpadra.

This time around, multi-instrumentalist and sound sculptor Tomlinson has assembled a full-fledged rock group. On their self-titled new release, infernal and primitive energies mingle with the bucolic reveries that won him previous acclaim.
