Sorgeldom came to life by Jodöden in late 2006 starting out as an acoustic project with a somewhat depressive direction and with a small catalouge of only one demo. Two years later in the summer of 2008, Sorgeldom developed into a metal act along with two new members, Dr: Sundén and J.marklund (Vocals, Drums). Creating a more widen sound with different influences like postrock and shoegaze mixed with blackened thrash metal but still keeping the original acoustic pieces close at heart. Recording the music in studio aswell as at different locations like the sewers, abandoned houses and out in the woods, to get away from anything digital.
