Láttam, hogy mostanában valaki kommentelt az előző Prisma albumnál, valamint a napokban rábukkantam az új albumra, így most itt van. Egy nóta feléhez érve: kellemes, zúzós, néha még azt is merném mondani, hogy rádióban is elmehetne. Progresszív hangvétel jellemzi, ahol néha-néha megvadulnak.

A Nocte Obducták és az Agrypnie után itt van még egy csapat, ami ehhez a slepphez köthető. Teljesen más vonalon mozog, mint a fentebb nevezett két együttes. Nyugodtabb, kedvesebb s az énekhang, felületes hallgatás után nekem néhol a néhai Peter Steele-t juttatta eszembe.

Amikor elkezd recsegni az öreg teherautóban az autórádió és néhány taktus után már csukott szemmel el tudod helyezni a térképen, hogy hol vagy, akkor mondhatod igazán egy zenéről, hogy karakteres. A Murder By Death ilyen csapat. Néhol ironikus, mágikus szövegeik porcukorként rátelepszenek a hangokra, amik felszakadnak a hangszerekből. Nagyon sok stílusból merítenek anyagtáljukba, western - és horror filmek, rock, alt-country vagy akár puritán módon country.

Dax Riggs - Say Goodnight To The World

Dax Riggs (born 15 October 1973 in Evansville, Indiana, United States) is an independently-signed singer/songwriter. His diverse musical style encompasses heavy metal, psychedelic rock, blues rock, and post-punk. His distinct lyrical style is characterized by a consumption by darkness, Satanic visions, druggy hallucinations, melancholy, morbid imagery, and a fascination with death in specific, all in an impassioned, raspy baritone that can be largely characterized as nocturnally beautiful in feeling. Dax has lead numerous bands and projects, most famously the legendary Houma, Louisiana sludge band Acid Bath in the 1990s, plus Agents of Oblivion and Deadboy & the Elephantmen. He has an album, 2007’s We Sing Of Only Blood Or Love, under his own name. Since stylistically leaving extreme metal, after the dissolution of Acid Bath, Riggs culls musical influence from classic Black Sabbath-style heavy metal, early-style indie rock, blues-rock, folk-rock, and post-punk, with audible and cited influence from Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen.

The Decemberists -The King Is Dead

The Decemberists are a five-piece indie/folk rock band that formed in 2000 in Portland, Oregon, United States. Named both in reference to the Russian Decembrist Revolt (they use the national anthem of the Soviet Union as an introduction at many concerts) and to the atmosphere associated with the month of December, the Decemberists write songs that range from upbeat pop to instrumentally lush ballads. They often employ instruments like the accordion, Hammond organ, Wurlitzer organ, and upright bass. Audrey Horne is a hard rock/post-grunge band from Bergen, Norway. some of the band’s members play or have previously played in black metal bands like Enslaved and Gorgoroth, Audrey Horne’s music is far removed from the black metal genre, and can be described as heavy and melodic hard rock, similar to bands like Faith No More, Alice in Chains. Képzelt Város - Mit Nekem (2009)

A fantasztikus "White Noise single" után végre itt a Képzelt Város egészestés nagylemeze. Senki se felejtse, november 19-én "Mit Nekem" lemezbemutató koncert a Tűzraktérben, aztán valamikor nem sokkal utána Közvetlen Hangtér blogon faggatom kicsit a tagokat az új lemez, a koncert, és egyebek kapcsán.

Fantasztikus, keserédes norvég indie-rock zenekar, valami elsöprő kisugárzással. Nem sokára írok róluk bővebben, hogyan lettek közel néhány hétnyi hallgatás után máris az egyik legkedvesebb zenekarom. Kezdésnek itt az első, és utolsó album.

Tape Underground - Kukacok, lepkék (2009)

Bár a Magyar könnyűzene világától évről-évre távolodom, egyre kevesebb élvezetet, élményt látok benne, a drága, mocskos, színvonaltalan fesztiválokat, ahol a tömeg, mint rosszindulatú daganat, egyre csak növekszik, ugyan az az egymást ismételgető, átfedő, unalmas, bejáratott zenekari tábor lép fel újra és újra, messziről elkerülöm. Mégis kár lenne teljesen lemondani.

Megjelent a Tape Underground második, Kukacok, lepkék c. albuma, és elődéhez hasonlóan, egy rövid regisztrálás után ingyenesen letölthető a zenekar honlapjáról. Ha nem is lesz a kedvencem, a tagok nagyon jó úton haladnak. Egy rém kellemes, élvezetes lemez lett, elismerésem. Külön meglepetés volt az utolsó, "Valahol" című dal utáni, feltételezem improvizatív jammelés, benne Jávor László/Seres Rezső kultikus suicide nótája, a Szomorú Vasárnap átjazzesített dallamai.

Szívesen végigsüppednék egy barátságos, félhomályos koncertet a pécsi Kino café-ban, nem túl hangos zenével, éberen álmodva, lassan kortyolgatva, a sziluettként tekergő, ringó táncolókat a sarokból lesve.
