The Dreadnoughts - Victory Square
El tudod képzelni milyen hatást gyakorolna a hallgatóságra, ha Eugene Hütz színpadi őrületét kevernénk a Flogging Molly-val? Ha a Dropkick Murphys-ből kivennénk a dudát? Ha a The Pogues-ot felgyorsítanánk?
Sydney City Trash - Once Upon A Time In Australia (folk punk)
The Tossers - Long Dim Road (folk punk)
Coming from the predominantly Irish neighborhoods of South-Side Chicago, the Tossers have been expanding the boundaries of contemporary Irish music since the early '90s. The band chose their name for its derogatory meaning of throw away. The term dates back to Shakespeare and depending on who you ask it also means commode, drunk or the bunk British currency the Irish rejected after their independence in the 1920s.Although their name may be irreverent, their music certainly is not. The heart of their distinct sound is derived through the melding of traditional Irish and Punk Rock roots. Combining traditional instrumentation of mandolin, fiddle, tin whistle and banjo with amphetamine fueled guitar, bass and drums, the Tossers play with a furious edge that teeters between rage and raucousness. Zydepunks - Exile Waltz (folk punk)
Fél füllel már valahol elcsíptem ettől a new orleans-i csapattól néhány melódiát, azonban most érkeztem el arra a pontra, hogy teljes figyelmemet ennek a zenének szentelhessem.

Orthodox Celts is a band from Belgrade, Serbia which plays Irish rock music. As a popular band playing Irish music, Orthodox Celts are practically unique not only in Serbia but in the whole of Southeastern Europe and further afield. Despite their unusual music, since their founding in 1993 they have been one of the most popular bands in Serbia. Their music led to a popularization of Irish and Celtic music and other aspects of Irish and Celtic culture in Serbia, especially Guinness beer. The band members are fans of the Celtic F.C., and some of the band's fans are too. The band started their career with traditional Irish songs and, gradually, introduced more and more of their own material (lyrics mostly by Aleksandar, music mostly by Ana). All their songs are in the English language (or as they say, in the Irish language), but the group has composed some purely instrumental songs as well. In addition, the band has released several videos. The Orthodox Celts have had several tours and numerous concerts inside and outside of the country (including in the Sava Center, one of the largest concert halls in Serbia). It is already a tradition of theirs to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a large concert in Belgrade. In all of the band's interviews, they state that their greatest desire is to tour Ireland; no band member has ever visited that country, except Ana.
